Directions of Use:
- Turn off both vehicles and ensure they are in park (or neutral for manuals) with the handbrake engaged.
- Attach the red (positive) clamp to the positive terminal of the dead battery.
- Attach the other red clamp to the positive terminal of the live battery.
- Attach the black (negative) clamp to the negative terminal of the live battery.
- Attach the remaining black clamp to an unpainted metal surface (like a bolt or bracket) on the engine block or chassis of the dead car — not the battery terminal.
- Start the working vehicle, wait a few minutes, then try starting the dead vehicle.
- Once the dead vehicle starts, remove the clamps in reverse order:
- Black from the chassis
- Black from the live battery
- Red from the live battery
- Red from the previously dead battery
- Keep the engine running on the revived car for at least 15–20 minutes to recharge the battery.
Safety Precautions:
- Always wear safety gloves and eye protection when handling jump leads.
- Do not allow clamps to touch each other or come into contact with metal surfaces during use.
- Only use on 12V vehicle batteries.
- Ensure correct polarity (+/-) to prevent sparks, short circuits, or battery damage.
- Do not use if cables are frayed, damaged, or corroded.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use in well-ventilated areas to avoid battery fume buildup.
- Disconnect power from both vehicles before attaching or removing clamps.
